We use only genuine BioThane, which is a durable, waterproof, and stink-proof synthetic material made of a strong webbing, encased in a smooth PVC coating. It mimics the look and feel of leather but requires minimal maintenance.

Our collars are embellished with high quality Swarovski and Preciosa Crystals and secured with sturdy metal casings in 3 colours. These allow us to provide a smooth finish to the back of the collar for your pet's comfort.

We aim to use high quality, strong but comfortable hardware, which is made of Solid Brass, Stainless Steel or Zinc.

We recommend either measuring your dog’s neck around where it will be worn (eg base of the neck) with a soft tape measure, or measure the internal circumference of a collar that fits your dog well, for the most accurate fit. 

Custom collars will have 6 holes of adjustability spaced 0.5” apart on single layer collars, and 7 holes of adjustability 0.5” apart on double layer collars as standard, unless otherwise discussed.

We offer three types of collar:

REGULAR BUCKLE: This is our standard design. This uses your belt style buckle, allowing you to adjust the collar size. A regular buckle collar is one piece of Biothane, the same width all the way around the collar (excluding the width addition of any Plain, Printed or Crystal Lined layers)

TAPERING: This is where the width of the BioThane is reduced at the
buckle to create a lighter weight collar.  For example, a 1.5" (38mm)
Collar can be tapered to 1" (25mm) at the buckle.  

There is no additional cost for tapering, please mention
this in your order notes and which width you'd like the collar to be tapered
to. 

LIMITED SLIP: These collars do not have a buckle. This style is designed to sit loosely around the neck but tightens safely to a pre-set limit when the dog pulls or backs up to prevent the dog escaping their collar.

We offer limited slip collars for single layer collars only. To make your collar a limited slip, please add the Limited Slip Upgrade to your cart.
