Care Information

Although our crystal biothane collars are pretty tough, there are a few things we recommend doing and avoiding to keep your collars in good nick for as long as possible. 

-Simply clean with a SOFT toothbrush and washing up liquid.  

-Ensure collars are rinsed off after going to the beach. We do not recommend collars with Black hardware or Colour Shifting crystals to be used on the beach/in saltwater at all. 

-We do not recommend collars be left on active dogs 24/7. Although they are tough, they are not invincible and a lot of scratching, biting, or rolling on hard surfaces may damage the collar. 

-Brass hardware can tarnish light coloured biothane. 

-If your dog is likely to roll in poo in a lighter coloured collar, we recommend cleaning it as soon as possible. Some poos can permanently stain light Biothane. 

-Remove collars during the application and drying of spot on flea treatment. The chemicals can accelerate the degredation of Biothane.

 

REPAIRS

We offer free repairs on any items damaged within 6 months under normal use. If it has been longer than this or been exposed to unreasonable use, we will charge appropriately for the repair.
